The Well Appointed Desk reviews the Rhodia Heritage Book Block notebook

Rhodia Heritage notebook with Checkered cover design

Ana at The Well Appointed Desk recently did an excellent and thorough review of the Rhodia Heritage Book Block notebook with the Checkered cover. Thank you so much for your wonderful review Ana!

Some things she liked: the paper, of course. After her pen test, she noted:

From the back, there is no bleed through and very little show through in the writing sample. There is a reason why Rhodia papers are fountain pen users’ favorites.

In summary, she said:

The Heritage Collection will be a favorite too. It doesn’t feel as precious or pricey as a webnotebook or Habana and is a little bit larger in size so it may be a notebook to consider. The softcover might also make it more appealing for some.

I agree, I think the Heritage notebooks are very appealing. The composition-book size is great: larger than A5/ 5 1/2 by 8 1/2 so you have more writing space, but still very light so you can carry it around. The soft cover also keeps the book lightweight, and the cover designs are so gorgeous I want to collect them all!

You can see my review of the Rhodia Heritage notebooks with photos of all the cover designs here.

The Rhodia Heritage notebooks come with the book block binding like this:

Or with sewn spines and fewer pages for a thinner book:
