Please tell us a little bit about yourself.
Hi Rhodia Drive, thank you for having me. My name is Mishka and I am a pen addict. I have been a stationery junkie since a very young age and enjoyed back to school stationery shopping even more than Christmas! I work for Bureau Direct and look after their social media. We blog on www.stationerywednesday.com
How and when did you first discover Rhodia products?
Rhodia came along with my fountain pen hobby. If you look at social media everyone talks about Rhodia as the gold standard for quality paper. I gave in and got a book. It was so incredibly smooth to write on, truly eye-opening experience; I never looked back. My very first Rhodia was a green pocket Webbie. I still have it :) Green and orange are my 2 favourite colours, so it was without a doubt my favourite notebook (at the time).
Which are your favorite Rhodia products?
There are so many!
My first mention is the Rhodia R range which I use primarily for correspondence. The ivory paper suits certain ink colours and looks very classy. Pads are a fantastic value for money.
My current #1 notebook is Rhodiarama 190×250 – size is slightly larger than A5. Those few centimetres make a big difference. I can finally write without running out of space. I did crash-test this notebook for a month and it never let me down. Covers are hard wearing and age well. Paper can take even the widest calligraphy nibs with pools of ink.
Special mention goes to Cahier notebooks – I could rave about this fresh release all day! Thank you for making those in dot for both A5 and A4 version. It is a true staple bound classic.
I am really excited about the upcoming Heritage collection too. Stitched pages with cardboard cover look very chic.
Do you use your Rhodia products for work? Personal use? Both?
Both! I am a Rhodia professional by day and Rhodia fan by night :) It’s so easy to sell Rhodia – not just because I am a big fan of the brand, but because the products are fantastic. You know exactly what you are getting with Rhodia – top quality without compromise.
Is there any way we could improve on your favorite product?
I read all of the other profiles and my +1 goes to Ice pads with dot paper. Let’s make that happen soon…please and thank you.
Pencil, pen, or other? Favorites?
Fountain pen. I use them for everything – extra fine nib with special ink for sudoku in newspapers, neon ink with stub nib for highlighting, waterproof ink for addressing envelopes (it rains a lot in UK), italic nibs for calligraphy…you get the idea :)
